Dancing, Workshops and Discourse
The time has finally arrived: after two digital editions, we will finally be able to come TOGETHER for the 2022 Berlin Performing Arts Festival to dance, chat, think, eat soup and drink sparkling wine. In order to celebrate our reunion with each other and to mutually meet the current societal challenges TOGETHER, this year’s schedule of programming for the 2022 edition of the festival is plainly dedicated to the theme TOGETHER and, in doing so, ties into the thematic points of focus of this year’s productions in the Programming from the Community rubric.
Theater enthusiasts, the Berlin audience, the independent performing arts community and visiting industry professionals are invited to celebrate during the PAF Opening Event at ://about blank and during the PAF Closing Event at Panke as well as to attend workshops, eat lunch, chat with each other or chill out and meet up with each other at the festival bar in the evenings in the wandering festival center located alternatingly at four different theater locations in Berlin.
Their schedule of events is free of charge and is intended for everyone who likes to chat and enjoys sharing who is interested in the respective topic.
In addition, PAF Radio offers stories from backstage, interesting conversations and recommendations for the day each morning. From interviews with performers, excursions to the most remote performance venues or updates on the weather - it offers everything you need to get yourself in the mood during breakfast or on your bicycle enroute to the festival. The PAF Blog offers provides a point of entry to the schedule of programming - with reviews, features and interviews, the students report on and questions the artists and members of the community from the schedule of programming and thus provide insight into their productions, working methods and stages.
