Performance theatre always sounds like blood and sweat? Like breathtaking surprises according to the chaos principle? Working in the independent scene means long days with nice people on existential themes, but for almost no money? At the university day of the Performing Arts Festival Berlin you can check these prejudices!
On May 26, 2022, students from all universities and faculties are cordially invited to get to know the Performing Arts Festival as a platform for the independent performing arts in Berlin and its makers.
At the Theater unterm Dach in Prenzlauer Berg, the day will start with a get-together especially for students, which will provide space for information and exchange about the independent theatre and dance scene. Afterwards, participants can explore the rest of the day's programme at the festival centre and visit performances from the "programme of the scene" throughout the city together. In the evening, we will end the university day together with a drink in the festival bar at Theater unterm Dach.
