A Theatrical Upcycling
hardt attacks

What do a hologram from the 24th century, the son-in-law of Karl Marx, Roland Barthes, a reluctant time traveler, a light bulb in the fire department of a small city in the USA and a 40-year-old hand mixer have to do with each other? The central question is how much superfluous artistic work is produced due to the pressures of the funding system. Burn Out is an evening about sustainability in art and the art of sustainability.

Event notes

This will be followed by a follow-up discussion with Theater unterm Dach and Leonie Woidt Walliser (FEIN pilot project).

The performance will take place in German. Currently, the venue is not barrier-free, which means that there is no barrier-free access to the building and event area. The theater under the roof is located on the 2nd floor and is only accessible via stairs. In addition, there is no WC for people with disabilities. However, all this is to be changed in the course of the upcoming renovation of the building.
