Mariama Sow

Mariama Sow is a costume and fashion designer whose work focuses on the political aspects of clothing in the context of identity construction and self-representation. She studies fashion design at the Weißensee Kunsthochschule Berlin and researches the role of clothing in the self-perception and perception of Black bodies in Germany.
