In public space: Alexanderplatz (Neptune Fountain in front of the Red City Hall)

Alexanderplatz, lovingly called “Alex”, is one of the most important squares in Berlin. It is the largest urban square in Berlin as well as in Germany. In addition, it is one of the most visited locations in the German capital. It is one of the most important transportation hubs in the city. It features numerous S-Bahn and U-Bahn lines, regional trains, bus and tram lines. The square itself can only be used by pedestrians.
