How are external appearances, cultural backgrounds and fashion perceived and how does this shape our behavior? In a dialogue-based work, these perceptions are examined from political, social and personal points of view. The ways in which Black and queer bodies encounter the gazes and attributions with which they are confronted is a focus of Kevin Bonono’s work.
