Francesco Ghirlanda

Francesco Ghirlandais an Italian drummer and drum teacher. He was trained as a musician both privately (with such instructors as Angelo Tripodo, Bruce Becker, and Bob Moses, amongst others) and academically (at the Jazz Department of the Verdi Conservatory, in Milan). His professional activity as a musician, over the years, has led him to perform live both in Italy and abroad - notably in jazz ensembles - at jazz clubs, festivals, and theatres, but also at a number of theatre plays. He currently teaches drums and percussions as well as philosophy, in which he earned a Master’s degree in 2016.
