Carmen Volpe

Carmen Volpe, born in Italy, is a performer, choreographer, dance teacher and dance therapist, dancing since her early childhood. In 2004 she received the Diploma Maestra di Danza, Danze Italia, Union International Dance (State Diploma). She also studied Mediterranean languages, cultures, art and performance at the University l'Orientale in Naples. Since 2015 she has been teaching dance groups of all ages for various dance schools in Berlin. In 2018, she completed her training as a dance therapist at the Campus Naturalis Academy. Since 2019, Carmen has been teaching dance therapy at the Academy. At the UdK she completed the certificate course "Creating Dance in Art and Education" with a focus on dance pedagogy and choreography. In Berlin, she collaborates with various artists and companies, such as the inback Physical Theater Company and Tanztangente, where she was a dancer in the new dance production "Mobile" by choreographer Nadja Raszweski.
