Aulbert/Saiki

The performing duo consists of Frauke Aulbert (vocal virtuoso/performance artist) and Michiko Saiki (pianist/media artist). They are both specialists in contemporary music. Based on their musicality and knowledge as performers, the duo explores new formats of expression through their unconventional style and approach. Composers of younger generations are brought in as co-authors in the form of commissioned works.
