Annukka Hirvonen

Annukka Hirvonen is a dancer, choreographer and teacher based in Berlin. Her work and artistic research are highly inspired and influenced by the art of improvisation and instant composition, as resources and processes for choreographic work and creation, and deep practices of embodied wisdom, intuition and play. She is continuously creating and performing collaborative multi-disciplinary works with other artists, which have been presented in several venues and festivals in Berlin  and internationally. She is a co-founder / artist in Berlin based Company HAA and a co-founder and member of Collective One:Third, winning the jury price of Festival 100 Grad in Sophiensaele in 2015 with their work "Fate of the Galaxies". From 2019 she has curated "Urban Performance Series" in Urbanraum, and also regularly shares her work through her classes and workshops.
