Accessibility

We are committed to making your visit to the festival as accessible as possible. On our homepage, you can see which venues and program contributions are fully accessible according to the organizers and artists. This year, the information on the accessibility of the participating production venues of the Performing Arts Festival Berlin was expanded. For this purpose, a short questionnaire was created so that information reagrding accessibility can be presented in more detail on our website.

The nearest stop(s) can be found on the respective venue pages under the heading "Directions".

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee accessibility at all festival venues. However, this year the participating venues were asked about the accessibility on site. Depending on the feedback, detailed information can be found on the pages of the venues. Via the category "Accessibility", the playbill can be filtered for productions where, for example, wheelchair accessible sanitary facilities are available or a special seat reservation is possible. Depending on the transmission, the venue and event pages also contain the contact persons and contact information for more detailed inquiries.

Here is an overview of all venues:

Unless otherwise indicated, the events take place in German and/or English spoken language. Via the category "Suitable for English-speaking audiences", the schedule can be scanned for productions that (mainly) use the English spoken language on stage.

The festival schedule can be sorted individually according to selected categories using a new filter. These include aspects of accessibility, such as free admission or public exchange offers, an overview of the neighborhoods, fully accessible offers, such as the availability of wheelchair accessible sanitary facilities, accessible parking spaces or ground-level access to the buildings. It is also possible to filter by days, times and genres.
